The stock market continued to experience a quiet trading week, as investors remained cautious ahead of key macro-economic events.

The stock market concluded the second week of September in negative territory, marking a week where four out of five trading days ended in losses, while liquidity remained weak.

According to data provided by the Việt Nam Securities Depository and Clearing Corporation (VSDC), domestic investor accounts increased by more than 330,000 in August, a slight rise compared to the previous month and the highest level in over two years.

The Ministry of Finance (MoF) is currently gathering feedback on a draft circular that outlines service fees in the securities industry.
